Lakeshore Curling Club is passionate about introducing curling as a sport to as many people as possible. This unique program is run twice per year to allow those who have never tried curling, to go from raw to ready in 8 short weeks.
This program covers an introduction to all aspects of the game: how to deliver a stone, how to sweep, the rules of the game, strategy, the make-up of a team etc. Once you have completed our program you will have learned enough to join any of our leagues, we highly suggest our New Curler League (Cobequid Social League)
What equipment do I need?
You need to bring clean indoor shoes and wear loose, comfortable, warm clothing, You will have access to our club equipment, such as brooms, grippers and sliders.
What is the cost?
The cost of our program is $200 +hst, this includes a 8 week program with highly qualified instructors, and the use of Lakeshore's curling equipment.
How do I sign up?
You will find the registration tab HERE, simply complete the registration and select Learn to Curl for your base membership and league choice. Registration will open August 1st, 2022
